How do I return a rental handset? How do I return a rental handset?

To return a rental handset, let us know. We'll let you know which store to return it to (typically the nearest Telstra Shop), and a reference number. You'll need to quote this reference number when you hand the phone back.

Once we provide you with the reference number, you have ten days to return the phone. If you're unable to return it within that timeframe, we'll need to place another order and get a different reference number for you.

If you'd like to remove a rental handset from your account, but you no longer physically have the handset, there is a lost/stolen handset fee of $20.
